Cheating/botting/pirating/scamming in video games

If you knew someone who was doing something in a game that is unethical (scamming other members, etc), would you report them? Would it make a difference if this was your husband, wife, significant other, or someone else you are close to? What if you didn't play that game, would it still bother you?

Of course I would report the person no matter how long I knew him or if the person was the nicest in the world. I believe it is wrong and unfair for others to earn things the hard way

This at many times is a very hard question. At first I would try to talk sense into the person. Since gammers and such value their ideas very much, they may be able to see the light so to speak.
