Two days before I submit one discussion, but it contained one mistake. I wrote one wrong word. So I want to replace the word "boay" by "boy". However,I couldn't find the method to modify the discussion. In another point,I want to complete some information of the topic, and I don't know what can I do. More important than above, I want to write a series stories of the happy life in the same discussion but different sections. Who can tell me what I should do?

Hello youngspace and welcome to Mylot! Unfortunately there is no way for us to modify a discussion or response after we post it! You can only go in and submit a comment about your mistake. If you want to provide more info, you may do so by commenting on your responses. That is the only way, my friend. You may not comment on the added information until someone responds in a manner that requires you to provide the added information. As for posting a series of discussions, you may do so in different interests but with different wordings! It is against the rules to post something over and over again, you can not manipulate it by changing the tone and the wording of your discussion! You have to be sure that you are not repeating yourself! That will get you or your discussion deleted! Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting that you cheat! You have to be honest and be sure that you mention that you will be continuing the rest of your story in another discussion. You can use the terms continuation, update or part one and two be sure “Quote” your previous title, so that others who have responded to the first one and thought that it was interesting they can once again recognize it with your title. Nonetheless… you may not post anything similar to the original posting! It should be pretty easy for you, if you are going to be posting a story, you can always “ “quote” a statement from your previous post, but you have to make it clear that you have mentioned it before! Well then, with that said I wish you all the luck in the world in your journey of series postings, I am sure it will be discussions greatly anticipated! Please keep in mind that I am not a Mylot Staff member and it should be advised that you can always contact admin for definitive answers! My response is solely based on my experiences and knowledge from being here almost three months now!

Liyan has explained it very fluently. There is no other way we can edit our posts once we have submitted them but by adding a comment, point out the mistake and make the necessary correction. It's too bad really but I think with the new Internet Explorer and/or firefox browser they got a spelling checker so you get to see if you have spelled the word correctly or not. However if it's a grammatical error of course, the browser can't check it.

I see. Maybe i should change such topic into other domain. For this area it's incouraged to discuss but not impress the emotion of happy or sorrow. But I still really appreciate your help and come here in future. I hope someday I can help others like you help me! It makes me feel warm very much in mylot.

Thank you very much. But how did you rectify the mistake unless you never make mistakes. And if we can't modify the discussion,I think it's a really big pity sometime, we lose the chance to improve ourselves.
