Was it memorable? disaster? Unforgettable? Is it everything you thought it would be?

Prom nights can be fun and yet boring as well depending on one's experience. Mine was so and so. I didn't get to go with a guy I like but on top of that I had to be chaperoned by my male cousins. That part was memorable. Imagine, the humiliation!!!

I went to 3 proms. My junior prom (the first) was probably the worst. I asked a guy from a different school that I had gone out with a few times. He spent more time looking at the girl across the table than me. He did dance with me and was pleasant, but not what I expected at all. I never saw him after that. My senior prom was the best. I asked a guy friend who went to another school and it was great. We ended up dating after that. My third prom was at another school. I went with a guy I had been out with once before and he asked me to go. We went as friends. I had so much fun at my senior prom, I really cannot remember much about that third one.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think for a lot of women prom is showing off what your made off. Letting others see you in a different settings where you dress differently, look different and most of all have a chance to acquire more admirers. It's like putting your best foot forward or in our case putting our best self forward.

I went to two proms, my junior and senior prom. I didn't really feel as though they were too great but I think that's because I didn't really have a serious relationship at the time, and prom is more of a serious thing, and although I didn't go stag, the person I went with for my junior prom was just there so I didn't feel bad going by myself. I went senior year, but I went stag sooo. That was kind of boring as well. Also, like you've said in some of your responses, prom is more of a girl thing then a guy thing.

yeah i loved prom it gave me something to remember and a pretty way to remember it because i got to get fansy!
