I know some basics and would like to learn more. Do drop in some basic sentences and their meanings in this discussion. I'm grateful for your time. Thanx in advance....

hello sbksat! I tried learning french by myself and you know what? its really hard, you need to have an instructor, or at least someone who can listen and guide u to you speak it. Its a really challenging language.. I have enrolled for a short course on it, and until now my i still get tongue tied (so to speak) trying to pronounce french words..
