lurking around out there- even after taking anitbiotics I still don't feel well and anyone I talk to who has had it says the same thing- that it never seems to go away- they just can't shake it, my boss has been sick for over a month and he took anitbiotics too they helped but he still feels sic. Try to avoid getting it it is horrible- starts with a sore throat and then a headache, your sinuses fill up and you cough a lot. I would recommend taking Zicam, vitamin C and anything else you can to avoid this paticular strain.

Sorry to hear you haven't been well, checked on your profile yesterday and noticed you hadn't been around for a few days! Hope you get better soon, some colds drag on for what seems like hours. I had a particularly nasty cold some 18 months ago (It must have been bad as I had a day off work lol) but even now my sense of smell still has not returned fully. Get well soon!

Oh me too, it's not nice, I can smell quite strong or odd odours, but anything else forget it! Thanks for your best wishes, wishing you a speedy recovery also!

Well time to get serious on this situation. No more sugar of any kind. Anything like KFC chicken will be a benefit. Also up the onion, garlic and pepper intake. Oranges, limes, lemons, and fruit in general will fill you and add to the immune system functioning. The more garlic the better. Anitbiotics have played havoc with your system now and yogurt without added processed fruit is necessary. Then you might be seeing some results. If I think I am getting something I head straight for KFC and eat the chicken and have gravy on the taters. Also I cut out sweets/sugars. Sugar suppresses your immune system. I usually and have not had a cold in a long while. Good luck with this. Let me know if you try this and how it works. It has worked for a girlfriend of mine.

Thanks for the advice- all is good except for the Garlic- it gives me a stomache ache whenever I eat it- I have an ulcer- and contrary to popular belief- it is not good for stomache problems. But all the other stuff sounds fine- I liek the KFC thing- how did you know I've been craving their chicken????

Awww - I'm sorry you've been ill. We both had a similar thing here back in May - a heavy cold that turned to a sinus infection and was an absolute ****** to clear. Seems these daned bugs can fly the Atlantic pretty quickly! Anyway - keep warm, drink lots of fluids, rest a lot and I hope you get completely better soon. Alternatively - just drink lots of whisky:-))it will eithercre you, or you won't remember what's wrong with you after a while!

I am sorry that you haven't been feeling well. that really sucks to get a cold in the summertime. I haven't had a cold but I have been bothered with a lot of sinus trouble lately. the back and forth weather we have been having hasn't helped much.

Sorry to hear you've got a nasty bug. The summer is the worst time for colds I think. I always feel like my skin can't breathe when it's hot and I'm stuffed up. I hope you feel better soon.

I've had terrible one last year, it seems like everyone at work had it. Turned out that it was infection. Didn't go to the doctor until it got real bad, but all I remember from it now was constant cough and sinus filled up. They said it was the same virus spread from one to another, with different effects on each person. I hope you get better, my friend.
