10 yr old. girl kidnapped their neighbors baby and were demanding 200,000 dollars. The note said and I quote, "If you want to see your son again and don't call the police and report him missing and you will leave $200,000 on the sofa tonight and we will return your son back safe." signed the kidnappers. Holy moly, what the heck is going on? Now I have heard it all...good grief...what do you think about this?..they were 2 sisters. The mother found the baby and the girls said they found the boy on the corner. It was the 10 year olds plan according to the 12 year old..who told the mother of the kidnapped child...this was in Enid, Oklahoma...

It seemed to have started because the 10 year old was banned from going over to that neighbors house..so I guess kidnapping was the revenge...no wonder she was not allowed to play over there...

Oh no. It is unbelievable for me. How can such little children did such a horriable thing. I think their parents should be responsible for it. It is parents' duty to teach their children what to do.

this is really scary... they are so young yet they can think of such a scheme already... what will they become when they get older??? they should be punished accordingly and i think they need counselling... it is a pity that they are wasting their lives by doing this act and they are still so young... they have to live with this for the rest of their lives...

oh gee sounds like these kids have been watching to much television. i have seen heaps of shows lately and its along the same lines, wouldnt be surprised if the parents of the girl knew something about it or put them upto it.

Children are exposed to so much bad news, they begin to act out what they hear and see. This is why there is so much violence in children and it is happening at younger ages.
Parents need to monitor what their children watch and they need to ban the news altogether so that they can not be exposed to these things. They see them as a game, but they are reality that can be hurtful and even kill other people.
Also, those kids needed to have a much more structured life doing kid things, like playing sports. Where were the parents? They are the ones responsible ultimately for the acts of such young children.

That is sad and unbelieveable!! I don't know what would posess someone to do something like that. I can't believe some people. I wonder where those children came from, and how they were raised, to come up with such an idea as that.

Oh my! I can't believe kids think of things like this?!? makes me wonder what is being taught to them at home :( I am glad the baby is back but still, I can't believe something like this has happened!

I guess that this should be a lesson to everyone to lock you doors even when you are home. Luckily the baby didn't get hurt in anyway. Scary that these young girls would think to kidnap a baby.

Now I have heard everything! I would get some help for these children if I were the parents. Something is definitely wrong if a 12 and 10 yr old can kidnap a child. Also, how did they get this baby? Where were the parents?

They let themselves in the house at 5:30am..and took the child...they knew the child..the 10 yr. old plays over there. the girls mother found the baby and asked where they got him and they said they found him on the corner..The parent of the child I think was sleeping when they took the baby....the baby knew the girls....

These little girls have obviously watched WAY too much television! What could a ten year old and a twelve year old buy with 200,000 dollars anyway? Its a good thing that the mother caught them and that nothing happened to that baby. If those were my kids though I would beat both of their behinds. They are so young I bet they didn't even think of the reprecussions of their actions and they are going to get into a lot of trouble for this stunt.

I think that is a case of watching too much tv and hearing too much about things like that. It is terrible that children are thinking of doing things like this.

what the? what is this world coming to? Why did those little girls felt so desperate to do such a awful act? I know everyone here is probably thinking why would to little girls those ages do such a horrible thing like this? But I question is what made them feel like they needed to do this horrible act for that much money? I never thought I would read that 2 very young children needed that much money. I would expect this out of a teenages to ask for that much money and I am not talking about the horrible crime these kids did. but little girs why would they need or want that much money for?

I can't believe them being that young. I was playing with barbies at that age. What kind of home life did these girls have that they needed to attempt something like this? I wonder what punishment the girls will get. I can't believe the 10 yr old was the one who came up with the idea and the 12 year old went along with it. Atleast the baby made it home safe.

The 10 yr. old was banned from playing at that house so I guess she wanted revenge..
