Sisters accuse of kidnapping neighbor

Two sisters age 10 and 12 are being accused of kidnapping their 1 year old neighbor. They are said to have taken him and asked for a $200,000 ransom. They are said to have broken into his home and took him and leaving a ransom note. The girls' mom was actually the one that found them with the little boy. They said they found him on the corner. The 12 year old finally told her mom that the other girl was responsible for the kidnapping. They were arrested and taken to a juvenile center. Luckily they didn't harm the little boy and he was returned to his mom very quickly. That's just sad that 2 kids kidnap another little kid. I just don't see why they would do that. I hope those girls get some help because they surely need it.

I think at that age they didnt understand what they were doing. They should know the difference between right and wrong. But at 10 and 12? They probably saw it on tv and thought it would be exciting. But the question is? How can two children break into a house and steal a baby, with out the babys parents not noticing?

Don't underestimate children! My niece is 8 years old and she knows how to manipulate already. People break into houses all of the time and kidnap children without the parents knowing. That's how most kids are kidnapped.
