This Saturday is 7/7/07: The Luckiest Day Ever?

People believe that this saturday's date, will be the luckiest ever. The three sevens represent the luck often found at slot machines when people hit the jackpot.
Because people believe that it is a very lucky day, people will be buying lottery tickets and getting married. There are more marriages scheduled for that day then ever and many stars will be tying the knot that day.
What do you think? Do you believe that this Saturday is a lucky day and will you acknowledge it in any way or do you think it's just nonsense and that it's no better or worse than any other day?

i don't really believe that... for me, everyday is a lucky day because God is the one who created it... and i try to live each day to the fullest to glorify Him... so, today is no difference compare to any other day... i just do my daily routine as usual...

I personally saw this day as any other day. Especially since my 6 (almost 7) year old got sick on this day. Poor little guy is still coughing, though he seems to be feeling a little better. I hope he feels better by his birthday...it's in a couple of days!
I would have found this day to be a lucky day if I would have won the lottery...say a few mil. :P LOL

Maybe the luckiest day will be 7/7/70 or 7/7/77 or... there are many dates with sevens, but it don't mean anything though , it can be lucky for one, but a big dissaster for other. don't just believe in such signs, make a good work for them to come true .

I don't believe lucky number....something like that.
Why I say so? People are from different countries have different culture. Westen people may love numer 7, but people in China would love 8. That's because 8 sounds like "get rich" in Chinese.

A day is a day. I remember some crazy religious nuts talking about how 6/6/6 might just be the day that their savior came for us all, but that never happened now did it? It seems that their is no difference what a calendar reads as to what will happen that particular day.

I don't know how lucky it is, but tomorrow is my birthday. I turn 31, my mother in law is telling me I should buy a lottery ticket myself since it's my birthday that it might bring extra luck. I think it's neat, that a lot of people are going to get married tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow I will get a few of those tickets, never know tomorrow might just be my lucky day.

I don't believe that certain days or dates are lucky and certain are not. Every day is a new normal day and dates are made by human beings so there is no magic in them, besides as we don't know our future, we cannot say what is waiting for us next moment. So I will just consider 7th july as another normal day.

Hmmm....lucky Saturday and next week it's Friday the 13th again.....lol....no I don't believe in that kind of stuff.To me they are just another day and can be as lucky or unlucky as any other day of the year.I'm kind of looking forward to the 13th.....it's going to be one year since my bf and I got together.....but that's the only reason.
the only ones lucky on 7/7/07 are the people selling lottery tickets.....they will be making a good profit I'm sure.

lucky? well........i dont know but there is definitely something special about this day. i heard the seven wonders of the world will be announced today. well i hope those wonders have been chosen who really deserve it.

I'm not too convinced that it'll be any different than any other day. I remember people were fearing that something terrifying would happen on 6/6/06 (666 is supposedly the Devil's number), but in the end, nothing extraordinary happened that day (unless you count The Omen being released in theaters as extraordinary).

yes, the people here also consider the 777 number as a good date, especially for marriage
i have no idea for gambling, but for marriage, hotels and convention halls are already full-booked on that date
2 of my friends are going to get married too tomorrow
the next good number considered here is the 8th of august 2008 [ 8-8-8 ]
it is the chinese people's favorite numbers, and that date is also booked since last year

Not sure about this. I know I will be traveling home from Florida to Virginia so I hope it's a lucky travel day with no accidents or delays. I think when it comes to marriages that any day can be lucky if you are marrying the right person.
