Story time!

Here is how it works. There is a story behind the finale that I am about to describe. Your job is to uncover the story like a detective, and you can only ask questions that have an answer of YES or No. ie, I will only answer YES or NO and you have to follow what others have said so far to uncover the whole story! The story has a logical flow to it so there is no catch or silly tricky parts of the plot.
Here is the finale :
A man was dining in a restaurant having a dinner of roasted pigeon. Suddenly, he screamed, ran out of the restaurant and shot himself in the head.

That is all, now it is your task to find out why and uncover the reason behind all of it. Remember, ask questions that have a YES or NO reply only! Have fun!

So the story is...
A man, his wife and another man were on a boat. The woman falls overboard. The man tries to save her and fails to save her life but brings her body on to the boat. The boat has trouble and capsizes and the man, the second man and the wife´s corpse are on an uninhabited island. The second man cooks the wife (because there isn´t much else to eat) but tells the husband it´s pigeon to make him eat it. Then later in a restaurant he tries pigeon and realises the truth.
Well done Charles - that baffled me so much!!! LOL

I really enjoyed it!! I have one clever one but the solution is too easily found online. I might invent another.

I must say you were quite good at getting the conclusion. You can be detective hehe! I am gonna add u as buddy so i know if you got new topics. Well you can just think of a scenario, make sure it does make sense, that's all! hehe

Was there another person on the boat at the time of the accident apart from the couple?

Right! Did the other guy on the boat cook the woman and claim she was "pigeon"?
If so, when the man is in the restaurant, does he taste the real pigeon, know then what has occurred and run outside to kill himself in misery?
