A girl was raped in garapan. A girl went to a party and she ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall palm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98% of teenagers will not stand up for God? Repost this as A GIRL RAPED IN(your city) if you truly believe in God.., God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what "If you deny him in front of your friends, he shall deny you in front of my Father" STAND UP FOR HIM

It's not a true story, it's been told and retold for many years with the location changing as well as how many men that were walking with her. The problem I have with this story is the fact my then 12 year old niece who was on her way home from school 4 years ago, did see a man, did pray and was brutally raped. I can look for the news links if you would like to prove I am not lying. I am a Christian so don't think I am slamming this story because I am against God. It's just he is powerful and wonderful, we don't need to tell lies about him and his power. She is now an atheist. I can only pray one-day things will change for her. If we want celebrate God we should do so by being truthful witnesses. Further more this story is a horrible example of what God’s love is. It’s basically stating pray and God will spare you, but if don’t then you end up like the second girl. I hate this sort of rubbish it doesn’t represent my belief at all. http://www.snopes.com/glurge/rapestop.asp No offense to you, I am sure you didn't know.

Hello there, I am so sorry for what happened to your niece and that she has lost her faith in the lord. I must make it clear that I never stated that this was a true story! It was something sent to me and I chose to share it with other Mylot members, thus why I posted it in religion.I am a faithful beliver in the lord, reguardless if the story is true or not it is still in my faith:) Once again, I am sorry!

Wow, what a story? It is a very good testimonial about the Power of Prayer and the existence of GOD. Hope this story will be authenticated and be written by somebody in the book. If this story was really true, this is a very good example of how you should trust God and how to communicate God through prayer.
