Do you get together with friends and family and play board games or have Trivia nights?
We did Last night and it was heaps of Fun, and we're going for Round 2 tonight.....
I was interested to see How many others out there do the same?
Do you get together with just the family or friends as well and enjoy a board game together?
It's a chance to socialise on a different level and have fun, and great way of learning too....
Please share your experiences and thoughts too :)

We rarely do board games or card games except at holidays.
We mostly just visit, talk, go to lunch, go to concerts in the summer or watch political or comedy shows together...and an occasional scary movie.
Seems like all we used to do was play backgammon, cards, or boardgames, and it got old.

I think board games have become rare shared amoungst friends.. People are more likely to go out somwhere instead.... It is a great Laugh though...

I used to do this often, but now it is becoming rarer because my friends are too busy with other things (work, school etc...) but thanks for reminding me of this. Maybe I'll plan something for the future. I like monopoly, and cranium and who can forge TROUBLE!!

It is lots of fun playing board games with friends, it is a great way of socialising other than going out somewhere and spending lots of money....

We don't play board games as we don't really have any.
Aside from that, the children are too young to do any good with them.
I do have the Playstation 2 Game 'Buzz' which is a bit of fun.
I generally do well in that, but get 'beaten soundly' with the 'Singstar' game.
It is kind of sad that I get beaten with my own game, but it is okay as well.
It is a good excuse to have the 'gang' around and to have a few drinks, as you generally need to be 'primed' to have a go at it.
I am glad that you and your friends and family can have fun with something like that.

Yeah my children are still too young too, but with friends we do... It is good after a few drinks to loosen up with, lots of fun. I think it takes people out of their comfort zone a little too and great skill builder and knowledge to ofcourse.. a great way to learn and keep your brain on it's toes....

It is a great way to have some together time while learning at the same time. I don't think as many do this as they should. I think it shows a different level of socialising.... and it's Fun.....
