What do you think of animal communication?

A few years ago my dog got out and disappeared for almost a week. Nearing the end of that week we were frantic. We'd been looking everywhere and were having no luck at all. A lady who had bought a puppy from my mom 10 years ago (and then later adopted the rescued female we picked up from a farm where she was tied, ignored and malnourished) is certified counsellor but had recently been more involved with telepathic animal communication. We asked Rachel to help us track down Summer, and so she did a session, indicating Summer was hiding somewhere where there were people nearby, a lot of traffic and that she was sheltered. Her demeanour, Rachelle said, was calm and satisfied, but anxious to find her family. My boyfriend was very skeptical of the whole idea, but I think he changed his tune when we found her 2 days later hanging out at a car dealership, just off one of the busiest streets here. One of the employees said she'd been there for a few days, she'd caught herself a few Jackrabbits but wouldn't let anyone close enough to her to check her tags, and that she seemed healthy enough and in no pain, so they let her be. I thought it was interesting that so many recent cases have had police forces grasping at straws enough to call in a psychic to find a missing person or body, but so few people are willing to give pet psychics a try, when they might genuinely have something. Rachel's website is at http://www.animalcommunicator.ca/ if anyone's interested.

Even though I am a biologist I think there may be something to those kinds of things. Besides I read tarot, so I kinda have to believe in that kind of thing.
