Why do people have children if they are going to leave them in a car,van to die? Do they not know it is hot over 100 degrees in a car? Do they just go in the house and sit down until someone says where is little sam or sarah? What do you think?

I know that they probably get a phone call or start putting things away, but it is not an excuse. People have to start slowing down and think about what they are doing.

yeah well dont get me started on these so called parents who do this crap.. It makes me sick.. nothing annoys me more then when you hear about some drop kick parents who were too "lazy" to take their kid in to the shop or where ever the hell they are going and then forget about them. some people just dont deserve kids. I never ever leave my kids in the car even if I'm only going to be a few minutes I always take them everywhere I go..

I guess they are the same kind of people that let the bathwater running when their infant or toddler is in the tub by themself. Or maybe the same kind of people that forget that their child is outside and there isn't anything from protecting their swimming pool. I don't know if they're just that absent-minded or what. I think some people need real "help" though. I just don't get it. I get worried when my kids are even with a family member, I want to know where they are and what they're doing every minute that they're not sleeping (I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old).

I totally agree!! I can't imagine just forgetting about one of my kids!! What are the parents so busy doing that the kids are not on their minds?? I am always checking on my kids and making sure they are okay, even when we are just at home hanging out. I have to know that they are okay all the time, I can't imagine what could be going on that would make me forget to check on them, or make sure i didn't leave them in the car!! I think it is sooo terrible when you hear a story about that happening on the news. I just can't imagine it!!

Honestly I don't know how people can do that. I don't have a child but when I watch others children I am constantly wondering where they are and looking for them if they aren't right with me. Speaking of hot cars. It also makes me mad when people leave their pets in hot cars. I went to the Walmart the other day and a person had left two dogs in their car and they were really panting and they wewre in there for a long time. I felt so sorry for the dogs.

That sounds so mean to say but it is true. I know people can be forgetful sometimes but when it comes to being a parent, there shouldn't be any forgetfulness there in my opinion.
