Do you use the mouse a lot, non stop clicking and the odd position of our hands - lead to pain in the wrist joint (carpal tunnel syndrome)- i had to take physiotherapy and painkillers as well wear a wrist support for a month. I am better now but be careful if you have the same problem do not ignore it because my doctor said you may need a operation if it does not heal. What can we do to prevent this?

I use a wrist brace. Get the best one you can buy. Mine has a large metal piece on the bottom. I use it religiously while I am on the computer. I own a landscaping company and mow 2 days of the week. The weed eater/ string trimmer is what causes my problem. I woke up one morning and it felt like my hand was on fire. My hands are usually stiff and numb every morning. But it is getting better. I am strong, in good shape and have awesome stamina. It can happen to anyone regardless of their health. So take care of yourself.

I have also used a wrist brace but without the metal plate, but now that my wrist feels fine I am no longer using it - it slows down my typing speed.
