What would you do if your partner cheated?

I am not talking about teen romances with nothing really invested in the relationship EG: Kids, money, investments etc. I am talking about ones where leaving would be difficult. Not just emotionally but physically financially. If it was a one night stand while drunk would it be different than a long term mistress? Or does it not make a difference what the situation was? What would you do?

i guess i would leave my partner if he cheated. we have talked before about this thing because he had done this before, and i decided to give him another chance and i told him that it is the first and last chance. i guess, if my partner did it again, i'll do what i told him, and that is to leave him even though i love him so much.

I supposed that is true if he has done it before and does it again and you stay, he knows you will always stay no matter have many times he cheats. Maybe just that one time and the thought that he could lose you was enough to make him see how lucky he is. Thanks!

If my partner cheat me, I will give him a chance to say the truth and stop cheating me anymore. If not, I will get out of his cheating, let's hm get lost with his cheating!!!

investing in a relationship is already considered part and parcel of the relationship itself..for one cannot get one's emotion when you don't invest in it....if ever i caught my partner cheating on me...i would telll her that what she did is unfair and she has lost the respect that she deserves and that the kind of love and affection i have given to her cannot be reciprocated by the individual that she has chosen over me..or maybe you are looking for something else that i cannot give...i would just tell her my feelings rather than doing something stupid
