me and my hubby would want to bring our son to malls, and let him play in the child play centers so he would know how to mingle with other people. there are times that we would rather stay home and play as a family. but my son would always get a camera and ask for a photo shot whenever he finds us happy. and i'm so happy that he would appreciate it. how bout you? what do you usually do for family bonding moments?

Hi there. We have 2 children, ages 11 and 14, we're always bonding over dinner, asking each other how our day went and what was interesting about it. We also play alot of sport and watch alot of sport together as a family. We have movie and pop corn nights, we have pizza nights as well, these nights must coincide with my husbands shifts work otherwise the children and myself... We do have some really neat times together though... I can remember when I was growing up, we would have alot of cousins stay over on the weekends and for entertainment, my mom would make a cat walk in our living room and let us dress up in her clothes, she would get all her sports trophies out and she would be the judge, giving out her trophies as prizes, these times were fun times and I looked at them as family bonding, as well many other times...

We have family parties. Any chance to celerbrate, birthdays, Christmas and New Years are big affairs with everybody helping out. But we also celerbrate things like the first day of spring, or the end of really hard tests (my older kids are in junior high and high school). I usually cook up some goodies and we have a good laugh and talk. Then maybe DVD. Just time to chill out and relax. I think kids today have a lot of pressure, must get good grades, must get into a good school etc (at least in Japan) that these down times are fun. We are hoping to go to the beach on Monady, if the weather improves!
