What do you think of unflushed toilets in public restrooms?

How many times have you gone into a public restroom only to find that NO toilet is flushed? What do you do? Do you flush it? Do you keep looking to see if one stall is better than another and that it doesn't need to be flushed? Or do you just wait?
Me personally, I absolutely HATE it when someone is so LAZY that they can't manage to flush a toilet. I mean come on, if I can flush a toilet without touching the handle, so can the next person. I either use my foot or a tissue from my purse---anything so I don't have to touch the handle.

I agree....public restrooms are getting more and more disgusting...I don't know,if people getting lazier and not flush or the employees just not clean the bathrooms anymore.I usually use my foot too to flush the toilet...under no circumstances I would touch a handle...yuck.
For the most part,I try not to use the public restrooms..and wait until I get home.

That is me...I will hold it if I can. Unfortunately sometimes you just HAVE to use public facilities. I would prefer not to but sometimes....
Seems to me when I was growing up that the only really filthy bathrooms were at gas stations. Thinking back some of the then gas station bathrooms look CLEAN compared to the public ones of today. At least it was only grease from working on cars--todays are full of all sorts of germs...

That is what I hate most! "UNFLUSHED TOILETS", I mean, I don't understand why people would leave that especially if the "flush" is working fine! I sometimes encounter that people who tends to forget to flush the toilet. It happened to me last week, when the lady open the cubicle door, I saw that she didn't flush the toilet. I am so so irritated because I have to do the flushing so I can use it! Gross!

I have gone in the bathroom sometimes to do things other than go...I know that sounds crazy..and when I see an unflushed toilet, I am trying the next stall...I try to avoid going in there in the first place...

Yep I always keep looking to see if there's a cleaner toilet available. I really don't know why so many public toilets you go to are unflushed. It's disgusting. If it was the only one available I would flush it of course, but I have a germ phobia, so if I walk into an unflushed toilet cubicle, I get out of there as soon as I see it. It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I don't want to be in there.

There are toilets in the Philippines where the user give 5 pesos to the guardian of that toilet so that they can buy soaps,deodorizer for the toilet to keep it clean

There are people who uses the toilet but do not know the hygienic way.The people who use the toilet should be respectful of others who need it and so they should have it clean after using it to avoid diseases

I try to avoid public restrooms but now I can't because my children always have to go. If I see an unflushed toilet I go ahead and flush it with my foot. I am finding now that alot of the public restrooms that I go to has self-flushing toilets.
