I found this in a e-mail that I had saved and wanted to share it with U. The U in JesUs Before U were thought of or time had begUn, God even stuck U in the name of His Son. And each time U pray, you'll see it's trUe You can't spell out JesUs and not include U. You're a pretty big part of His wonderfUl name, For U, He was born; that's why He came. And His great love for U is the reason He died. It even takes U to spell crUcified. Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand He rose from the dead, with U in His plan? The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew, and this word resUrrection is spelled with a U. When JesUs left earth at His Upward ascension, He felt there was one thing He just had to mention. "Go into the world and tell them it's trUe That I love them all - Just like I love U." So many great people are spelled with a U, Don't they have a right to know JesUs too? It all depends now on what U will do, He'd like them to know, But it all starts with U. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 This is so very true. I hope it touches you like it touched me. I like the last part! It all depends now on what U will do, He'd like them to know, But it all starts with U. While reading through this, which part touched U?

"Go into the world and tell them it's trUe, that I love them all - just like I love U." I like this part just as much as the rest. This stand out for me . When I stand outside in our garden at night, I look to my right and on the hilltop is a large cross full of lights to brighten it up. Everytime I look at that cross, I say to myself; "It is trUe, the cross and the grave is trUly empty, It really happened. Jesus is alive." I rejoice in the fact that I am so priviledged to believe, not because of my own doing, but because of God's grace and mercy. Praise His Mighty Name forever, Amen

Philippians 4:13 is one of my favorite scriptures - I keep it posted in several places around my house as a reminder. Great message in this poem - I can see why you saved it and I am going to as well.

It is very touching "Just like I love U"... But as it depends on language, it is only for English-speakers. So sorry!

I think I chose the last part because it says because he would like them to know, and it starts with U is because I felt like I was doing that by sharing the poem.

It touched my funny bone. Using the modern English spelling of the name of a historical figure, who may or may not have existed, to make a serious of silly points was very funny.

If you are referrng to the calender terms, it would be difficult to provide a full history. The short story is ther terms came into use around the 6th century after a series of bloodthirsty campaigns by the Christian rulers of Rome (until then the reign of kings/rulers determined the calender). They are no longer used in Academia. They were never used in most parts of the world until forced to by a conquering christian country. And, of course, they provide no evidence as to the actual existence of christ. The actual historical evidence of christ is almost non-existent. His followers, much like the followers of Zeus, had a great effect on some parts of the world but that harly proves their deity was real now, does it?
