Angelic Layer is the hit manga and Anime made by CLAMP the most famous Mangaka's ever! Misaki Suzuhara travels to Tokyo to stay with her aunt, but see's that there is a bttle between dolls going on from a big screen TV in the street. She has never seen this before, and is utterly amazed by the grace of the women. A man in a white coat named Itchan/Icchan encourages young Misaki to purchase and create her own doll, which she does, and ends up giving her doll a name, Hikaru. Although, she is clueless about Angelic Layer, she soon becomes used to it. On her first day of school, she meets a young kindergartner named Hatoko, a famous angelic layer player and an expert on the game, also, she befriends Hatoko's brother,Koutarou, and Tamayo, a person who LOVES martial arts and thinks of poor Koutarou as the bait to help her with Martial arts, and they are her classmates. The reason that brought Misaki to liking Angelic layer is the fact that she liked the Doll, Athena, when she watched it. Misaki's real reason to come to Japan is to find her mother, who was confined to a wheelchair because of her multiple sclerosis, and Misaki hasn't seen her since Pre-School. She helped in the developement of Angelic Layer, and is the champion in all games. She is also the owner of the doll Athena, whom Miksaki saw in battle. My review for this is that it's very good, sweet and totally cute! It contains using your imagination, which captured me, because your angel can't move without your imagination! I can't wait to watch more episodes, because it is seriously a great anime!
