I am not trying to sound negative here, just practical, but I don't understand how a few 1000 people attending concerts is going to change the effects of global warming, even in the long run. Are they going walk/cycle to the venue, or make sure they put the trash in the trash can? Most people don't realise this even when the effects are clearly felt by themselves, the temperature, for example.
