We saw this on TV ... it's as simple as using a rubber glove! Just put on the rubber glove and stroke the couch to remove theh pet hair --WAH-la! I couldn't believe how well this worked considering all the expensive and myriad items they sell for just this reason. This morning I got the idea that if it worked on the couch, I would go directly to the source and tried it on the cat! I petted him with it and got tons of hair out --and he loved it! Try it yourself and let me know how you like it!

Save your vacuum cleaner --someone might invent a better use for it! :)

Ok, first off ... the thought of a rubber glove on a cat just sounded kinky! LOL just joking! hehehe Seriously though, I wonder how many cats would enjoy being "petted" by somethign foreign like a rubber glove. What kind of glove did you use - one of those fashionable yellow gloves used for washing dishes and housework? I also heard that if you use a damp sponge on the couch and such, that'll also pick up the pet hair. Damp as in a sponge being left to dry for an hour or so ... not wet where it drips, but damp. Now for the question - how do you get the pet hair off of the damp sponge or the rubber glove???? Because, you know they would become full of the hair, especially if you have not de-haired your furniture for a long long long long time. I don't know of anyone like that (looks around innocently). *wink*

Just a plain 'ol yellow rubber glove that you use to do dishes with. Pet hair does not stick to the glove... you just have to use it to understand, lol. I used to use that pet hair tape on our navy blue couch, but this works better. I guess it depends on the cat also.. my siamese loved it, but with the other cat I think he will just have to endure it from me. ;)
