would you DIE for JESUS?

every christian i talk to seems to be very thankful that jesus died for them (and their sins). but lets say, that an epic battle happened between good and evil and for some reason you had to give your life up for jesus. would you decide to live forever and stay on earth or DIE permanently for jesus so others can go into heaven?

If he ordered me to die, then I will do since my life is his, But for no reason at all, then i wouldn't - but Jesus always have the reason and that reason is always good, so every words from Him i will follow even my life is to be gotten i will, Since my life is not worthy of His order, - I just thought of it cause we humans always commit sins, So we have to really repent and not just repent give our life to Him, serve Him as long as we live, but God i know doesn't want us to suffer or not to enjoy this life, so we may enjoy it though serving Him. Even it is ironic, the only answer SHOULD be yes, of course, it is my pleasure, thanks...

if we have no free will, then what is the use of asking forgiveness? what is the use of our minds and ability to decide?

The Jesus story is a Myth that was started in Egypt as long as 10.000 years ago. Everyone lives for ever. Reincarnation is a fact that can be checked out. Anyone who can be hypnotised (Most people can) can be regressed to a past life. There are thousands of documented cases where people have proven facts from their past lives. Some would say that life an epic battle between good and evil.

I love to die for others if all of them can reach heaven.I am a hindu, but am ready to give up my life permanently if it is going to help the world as a whole or even a small group of people. Our living in this world is decided by the creator, that is God. Hence it does not matter if we live here or die. What ever to happen is to be treated as for good.

Every Christian expects that he or she may have to give up their life for Jesus, but unlike what you hope, that person will not die permanently and go to hell so that others will go into heaven. Saint Paul wished that he were accursed and had been sent to hell, so that his brethren, those of the same Jewish background as he would be saved, but God would never have done that. To do so, would have left every Christian in mortal peril, of wondering whether they would go to heaven or go to hell. God has already chosen those who would believe since the beginning of time and even in the great battle of good against evil, to decide that one Christian has to go to hell so others might believe would make HIM a liar and God never lies.

the question is not at all possable to be answaered because men are not that sure what they will do alot of time ubtil its time to do it. So one could say yes I would die for him but run like a little baby if it camee time to die. while some one else would say no i would not, and the time came he cwould stand like a hero and die for him.

I would beyond shadow of a doubt die for Jesus. There is nothing I wouldn't do for Him and that includes risking my life for Him.

A real and good God will never ask His children to die for Him because this is same thing -- good parents will never let their children to suffer or they will never want their children to be hurt.

Abraham, Issac, Noah, etc are NOT JESUS. I am speaking about Jesus. Please read carefully my posting above. Jesus is the core values of Christianity. Please tell me which passage in the Bible that says JESUS is ordering us to fight for Him or to die for Him! Again, Christians often call Jesus as Christ. That's why it is called Christianity. Without Jesus, there is no Christianity. Because Jesus's teachings are the guidelines of Christians. That's why He came to the world to show how we should behave or act so that we can get eternal life.

I'm not Christian so I definitely wouldn't be giving up my life for Jesus, then again I wouldn't give my life up in the name of religion. I might believe in God and heaven but I don't know if heaven exists for sure so why would I give up my life just in case others could go to a place which no one knows for sure if it exists? Call me selfish but I would only give up my life for people I know and care about.

definitely not. I think he existed, and I think he was a great spiritual leader and a good man. but I wouldn't die for him.

there is no scientific proof and the historic proof is debated... name one historian at the time that had written about jesus.... there are only 3 and they never said "jesus christ" they said "christ" which means "the annointed one" which could be anyone including mithras..

I'm not sure I completely understand your question. I would die for Jesus, but in doing that I would have everlasting life with Him in heaven. I'm not sure I know what you mean by living forever on earth. The only way that it is possible to live forever is to give your life to Jesus. Everyone has to make their own decisions, I don't think my decisions would have any effect on others.

I don't think I'd die for Jesus. I don't understand why some religions focus so much on the battle between "good" and "evil". I don't think there really is such a battle in life. To me its more of a balance between positive and negative. There is no way to get away from the bad things in life except to replace them with positive things. If we had no negativity in life then we would not appreciate the positive aspects of life that we do have. I hope this makes some sense.

The question is not correct. All who die in the name of Jesus will "inherit the earth" that is they will receive a new body and live on earth forever in the new Jerusalem. The new Jerusalem will be a huge city; I once made a calculation based on the measures given in the Bible and the current population density of today's cities. I don't remember exactly how many people would live in it according my calculations, but I think it was in the billions range (altogether in ONE city!!). However regarding dieing for Jesus, I hope and pray that the Lord would give me enough strength to die for His cause (ie. I'd like to, but can't say for sure until I am in that situation).
