how many times do you brush your teeth?

I think brushing them too many times could be bad for them. At least, I think I remember someone telling me something happens to the gums...but I don't really know. I brush them twice a day and that's it.

My son's dentist told me to brush his teeth at least 3 times a day. Of course, I don't because I think that's a little obsessive for a little boy to have to brush his teeth that much in a day. But I've heard the more the better. I just don't want to be spending my life brushin my teeth. Eat a piece of candy, brush teeth. Eat a cookie, brush teeth. Just gets out of hand!
