What is your favorite act so far? Did the songs make you want to go green immediately? Did the short clips of superstars showing you the ways to go 'green' move you? Is this enough to change you and your habits to save our planet that's in dire need of an immediate turnaround of events? Should the money collected from the events worldwide be channeled to other ways of promoting 'green' habits, research into other ways of going green and new materials that will have a positive effect on our environment? Don't get me wrong, i am all for increasing awareness of the global warming issue. Indeed we are in a crisis situation and it is all due to own doing to start with. On the surface of it, billions of people worldwide, are aware that they are attending the concerts in support of global warming. However, to have it beamed live via satalite globally for 24 hours non stop, is that not consuming more energy? I simply don't get it. Do you?

Hmmm...interesting thought. But won't they beam it anyway regardless of whatever is showing? Those satelites have fixed costs to run with or without those concerts. I think, it is okey since the content promotes those going green things. It would still consume energy with or without those concerts being beamed.
