How much money would you be willing to invest to make more money?

When I started a discussion on how to differentiate scams from legitimate offers in internet marketing, I must say I am surprised by the replies that I get from most of you. The reason I am surprised is because almost everyone would go for a program that does not require any upfront money. This is most interesting because it defies the old saying of 'it takes money makes money'. I belief in the fact that nothing is free in this world. To get something, we must contribute. In many ways, even in this MyLot program, we are contributing by discussions. That is how we are to make our income. But how much do we have to contribute and what kind of return can we expect? How do we measure it? Like many, I think we know that we have to really participate, start many new discussions, participate in many existing discussions etc before we can see some decent income. So, what is our cost? Definitely not zero. Our cost is our time and time is money. So, if you were asked to put that same amount of 'money' into another program which will give you a faster return, would you go for it? If another program requires that you pay a monthly fee or a one time start up fee, would you turn away from it or would you investigate and even be willing to venture into it? If we were to join the normal work force, yes, we do not invest money with our employer to get paid. But we invest our time and that equates to money as well. We spent many years in educating ourselves so that we are better prepared for a good job. That is money that we have invested before we get a job. Therefore, we cannot really say that we do not pay first to be paid later. So, if there was really a good opportunity for you to make good returns, would you be interested? If yes, how much do you think you would spend on it?

I am not sure that this is a fast and easy way to get money. I have joined this program for at least 4 months and have not even received any paycheck from them. Have you received any? Like to share how you managed to get a paycheck from them?

I think this is one of the best letters I have read on this subject. It is so true that we all want something for nothing and that just isn't real life. I would be willing to pay up front for a genuine program that would help me to make my life more prosperous...the difficulty is that there ARE scams out there and it is trying to separate these from the genuine ones that is so difficult. If you know of any really good sites please contact me and let me know...I would be very grateful.

Good question. As far as in the "business" world. Normally $0, I do not believe in having to pay for a job. I did invest $29 in one company before but only because I also got $29 in credits to use in the company and the money was also available for a full refund within 4 months of starting. I mostly joined for the benefits of having a chemical free, healthy home for my family. The business side of it was only a bonus in my mind. There are many at home "jobs" available if you know where to look. I actually take calls for HSN through my home for pay and no, I didn't pay anything because it is a real job, not a business opportunity/scam. However, I did invest $10 in a worldwinner account to play games and win. Mostly for fun but you can really turn that into some money if you play the games you are familiar with.

Would you not consider than that your $10 in the worldwinner account is a risk? Althought it is for fun, you could also lose money in playing the games, right? Also, when you invested $29 in the company, you were also taking a risk. In this case, your risk was a well calculated risk because you could get a full refund within 4 months of starting. In the business world, everything is based on risks. Having said that, to be successful, it takes determination and hard work. So, any investments made can turn to nothing if we do not work at it or it can become very successful it we put all effort into it.

My own personal and private policy is that I should not have to pay money to get paid. So I usually don't like all these websites that say they would offer you millions if you invest in them. I also don't like all those ones that say they would give you a job when you pay them. But I would not mind putting my money in a company or something of that nature especially if it is proven they are genuine.

if the program give me fast the money i join in that program, i don't like to spend too much time in a program that don't paid well.I only spend my times in something good when don't have nothing to do in my house. But if we have to invest money in a program that paid more than $500 per month and i can trust in that program I will invest my money in that. hey nice topic.
