Since the speeds for internet keep getting faster, i wonder what internet speed/connection people here on Mylot have. I myself have a 20MBps / 2MBps cable connection from Chello (netherlands). What kind of connection do you have?

Which country are you in? Do you have 100MBps down and upstream or only downstream? And do you have normal cable, or fibre optic cable? Thank you for the reply, bit short but still thanks. :)

well man you are lucky i should say. i stay in india and now it is 2mbps which is the max u can get here. that has download limit. if you want to have an unlimited package then you will not get more than 196kbps and that will vost you a lot. almost 600 to 700 indian rupee. so i think it is not that cheap. and also it is not that fast. but it will def. increase because with the dev, in technology it is bound to happen. the sites are getting heavy and heavy. flash is a very prominent part in every website now a days and then you have the calling and othet facilities. the if the e learning gets more popularity then who knows, it will boost up a lot.

I am using a broadband connection called Smart Bro Wireless Broadband which is 7x faster than the dial-up with a speed of up to 384kbps. That means faster downloading of music, better communication with loved ones, and a more fulfilling internet experience.

Mine is 23 KBytesps/184 kbitps which is not enough for me to watch live streams, downloads and youtube videos so i want more but the problem is i cannot afford expencive connection so i am paying just 10$ a month for this connection which is based on Lan networking .....recently i have applied for a highspeed connection which is offering cheapest rates in town hopefully it will be comming soon ........... i think my requirement should be not less then 512kbps to meet my needs ..............
