My family is very close. My father died when I was young. My mother raised 4 girls alone after that. My sisters and I are all married now and have families of our own. We are all still very close. When the whole family gets together there are 22 of us. We celebrate everyones birthday (that is 22 birthday parties each year) and we all get together for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, the 4th of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. Today we are having an engagement party for my neice. We do this everytime someone gets married. This way we can all meet the grooms family. The celebration will include some games like Family Feud~ family against family with questions about the bride and groom. It will be an all day event. Many people say that we have way too many family celebrations. I think that these celebrations keep us a close family. Do you think there can be too many celebrations?
