Vidic!!!

I have never been a fan of anything Serbian not since the war in Jugoslavia and all the negative images that used to come out of that country....
However since the emergence of Emmanuel Vidic at Man U, i have had to re-evaluate my feelings about his homeland. For me he is one of the most complete defenders i have seen in the Red shirt.
He is strong and tenacious and given the chance poses a real threat in the penalty area of the opposition. During the time he was away due to injury, the gap he left was there for everybody to see.
In a football match the attackers are ussualy the most glamorous but te charisma of Vidic is exampulary...

Vidic has ceratinly proved himself as a hard man..similar to john terry in attacking and scoring goals, and more than capable defending.
Him and Rio have been highly successful for united, a great contribution to why we won the title.

Its very nice to hear and Italian speak so highly of a defender playing in England.
I do agree with everything you have said. When Utd first signed Vidic he did not play the way i expected he would and to be honest i was skeptical of his ability to hold down a first team place for one of the worlds best football clubs. However, in the season just gone he was absolutely outstanding and was a big part of the reason utd went on to win the league, he has become a world class player.

I totally agree with ya mate. I think vidic has be so underated last season. He is a great defender and a great addition to manchester united.
