Now, I Wonder Where She Gets That From? Te He He!

Ok... so, most Sundays I come to my Son's house for dinner, which is where I am now.
On arrival, my little granddaughter came into the house and said, "I can't hug you today, my hands are filthy... guess what I'm doing?" I had no idea, so I intimated my vagueness in my reply. All I could think was that she'd been tending her own little piece of garden. She had replied to that in the negative and asked me to go, look. I finished off what I was doing, then went out to the garden to see what she was up to, and guess what?
She had built a faery and bug house in her garden. She had used pieces of MDF for the sides, then some pebbles, which she'd built up with wet mud, lol. Then, she'd taken some twigs and lain them across the top at equal intervals apart, and was putting leaves and flowers on top of those, to make a pretty and inviting roof.
How sweet, and what an imagination... I have no idea where she could have gotten those sort of thoughts from! She seems to know what she's about though. Don't you just love 'em?

Kids are so cute at that age. Come to think of it, kids are so cute at any age. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story with us.

You're very welcome, and yes, you're right, kids are cute at any age. I love being with them... not only my own family, but I've childminded a few times, and even brought one through from seven months to kindergarten age. She still asks to call in and see me when she passes my house. lol.
Brightest Blessings.
