In our life ,all of us carry desires,hopes and aspirations . The extent of desires may vary from person to person . But it is true that we all carry within ourselves the fulfillment of long cherished hopes and wishes . DESIRE .. it is a personal trait ..no one among us are devoid of it completely.

My desires would include the wings, so I could fly anywhere, anytime I wanted to. I love to travel. There are so many places I would love to see and so many people I would love to meet and visit. I have been blessed to be able to travel some and have many wonderful memories from it.

To have the money to travel throughout the world. To visit as many countries as possible. Not to have any responsibilities so that I could live one year in one country and another year in another country. To learn many different languages and cultures.

The endless factor in this world is certainly human desire! If one desire is fulfilled, it gives rise to many new desires. There is no end to it and only one can reduce them by mastering control over them, as 'Srimad Bhagabad Geeta' says. It is human nature to have desires personally, whoever the person may be! But if we add them with free wings, then in many cases it may prove dangerous. Regarding control of desires, two methods are there: 1) Repression and 2) supression. Among this two, repression I think is ideal. It removes the causes of the desires. Thanks for this specific topic.

Hi sukumar794, how are you? This is a very nice discussion, if my desires had wings, I would have flown into the medical profession as a nurse, an RN. I love taking care of people who need me when they are feeling bad...I work with children and the teachers bring all children to me who have fallen down and gotten hurt. I let the children do most of the work, cleansing their wounds first and then I do it again just to make sure it is clean. The children feel safe that I give them the opportunity to help themselves and I show them that it does not hurt to help themselves and that I will not hurt them. It is just something I love to do...if they are sick, I stay with them. Call the parents and all...that would be my desire...to be an RN/working triage...Thanks for the wonderful discussion...take care...

I hope that my desire become in real some day, but sometimes the desires go very far and I think it is impossible.
