Like several people above have said, I'm also very easy going and let most things slide. I've learned to recognise when I'm becoming angry and try to remove myself from the situation before I blow. Very few people have managed to make me truly angry since childhood. My wife is the worst one, we rarely row properly, but if we do get into it, she knows all the right (or rather wrong) buttons to push. I've broken things a couple of times in temper, but I've stopped doing that too as it just means another thing for me to fix! lol My wife slammed the bedroom door once while we were rowing, I opened it and she slammed it shut again so I kicked it off the hinges (4 hours and £80 - $160 to fix). I also threw an ashtray at a wall, but the wall was plasterboard (sheetrock?) and it went straight through, that also meant some plastering and decorating work for me afterward. These days I tend to take a long walk instead...

Wow ..You really do have a temper but glad to see you have a way of dealing with the urge now to fly off the handle.

I used to be short tempered when I was younger, but then I learnt that being angry all the time is a waste of time itself. I heard someone said Don't get mad, get even. So then instead of being angry, I will do all I can to get even. On important things I still get mad easily, but some things I laugh it off and spend my time on important things. But once I feel the need to get even, it will never go away until I get even.

Usually I don't get mad easily but, sometimes, just a little annoyance makes me lose my temper. Perhaps it's the drop that fills the glass. To cool off ... Well, after shouting and making fuss for a while I get to feel calm again.

I am like that too. Usually I have a long fuse but when its the last of the fuse the bang is equal to that of a short fuse;)

before i got married, i'm the kind of person that's not easily angered, i thought i was a cool headed person,, but now i'm married, i'm always mad, (bec. i'm jealous) at my husband, most of the time for no reason at all, but we get to straighten it always before the day is over, when i'm mad at him, i stay inside our room for hours, i wont go out untill i cooled off... other than my husband, everyone else i seems to have lot of patience for

It depends upon the issue, I guess. Generally, I don't get mad unless it's a big issue, or little things have been piling up all day long that irritate me. I do get irritated or annoyed pretty easily, but it's also easy to brush that off. When I'm angry, I try to take a break from whatever is bothering me, but that's not always an option. I also use deep breathing techniques and venting to a friend to make me feel better.

It depends. If it's someone close and I have a preconcieved idea about how they are going to behave and it happens, then I get angry easily. But with other things around me, I'm quite laidback. It's mostly husband and kids who bear the brunt of my anger. And I feel that's totally wrong 'coz they are the ones who need to get the patient and understanding person that I am. I somehow feel responsible for their actions. I feel people judge me based on how they behave. I know it sounds wierd but that's how I feel.

I can be quite easily to get angry or upset or it can take me awhile to be so depending on my mood and how I am feeling that day. lol Usually how I cool off once I am mad is to yell some cause to me that helps get it out of my system of what I am feeling. I also sometimes will go outside and just sit there and sometimes I'll take a bath.

I am neurotic, get angry very quickly. I just saw an article where they recomend to use a shower or meditation with a glass of water to clean the negative energy.I will try it.

I think I'm a quite patience for a person:). But actually everytime I get mad I often makes the people that I angry with always become miserable. I always like to show that there's no way I'm gonna talk to them again in the rest of my life. So I always make the silent war.LOL. I think time is the variable that makes me cool off

No, I don’t get angry easily, I do get irritated easily though! I am a patient person at will who can get along with anyone and put up with a lot of things but the one thing that manages to really get me angry is when I have to constantly repeat myself! I really hate it when I can’t get a word in otherwise in an argument which leads me to repeat myself for the sake of the argument. When I do get angry I usually just walk away from the person I am arguing with, because I feel like hitting them. When I leave I usually scream or throw stuff around just to get my anger out of me. At times I even cry and pray to the lord to help me be strong and resist the temptation to hurt another and the lord has always come through for me:)

I get angry easily but I'm trying my best to minimize it or convert my attention and feelings to other things because it just makes me feel bad or guilty after my anger has exploded. I usually say something that hurts my loved ones and it's not a good thing to do. Let anger pass by without hurting others.
