Flowers - What is your favorite?

Byrd Of Paradise - The Byrd of Paradise is a beautiful, unique flower that makes me feel happy. It takes me to a place that most things can't. It is my favorite flower, what is yours?

I am having a down day. One thing that has always made me smile and feel special is when I am given a Byrd of Paradise. I think they are the most beautiful flower before, during, and after bloom. Even look kind of cool when they die, creepy but cool. I don't have a specific reason why this flower is my favorite, but it just feels special to me. I want to know what your favorite flower is, and if there is a reason why please tell me!

To be honest with you I don't know anything about Flowers lol......I think its great when you understand about nature ....

your responses always make me laugh! :) I have always thought flowers were pretty, sure. However, I didn't know a THING about them and didn't know about exotic, tropical flowers really. My husband is actually the one who first sent me a Byrd of Paradise when we first met years ago. He knows a lot about flowers, and jewelry and all that kind of thing. He helped turn me into a girly girl, I guess. lol We are separated right now, as of 3 months ago. I'll always remember the special things though.

Carnation bunch - Beautiful Carnations
Carnations have always been my favorite flower. I think they last longer than most flowers, I like the scent and the look of them. They are also cheaper than most flowers so I'm more likely to get them!

Carnations are beautiful as well. That's what I had at my wedding, they were blue. Byrd of Paradise flowers can be a little too coloring for an event like that. Unless that is what you are going for! haha Also, how do you post a picture when you respond to someone's post?

My mom put a bird of paradise on my desk two days ago. I guess she thought I needed cheering up. My favorite flowers are Lily of the Valley though. They remind me of my childhood. Sadly they don't grow in Florida.

my favourite flower is rose, particularly a red rose. i love its scent as well as its looks.
