American Dollar

Is the US dollar going to be par with the Canadian dollar. As of tonight it is .95 cents. I remember when I had to buy a us dollar for .62. I think the war has taken it's toil on the dollar...among other things.
A quick question as I really want to know the answer..When is the war going to end?
