Do you think that if you date exclusively outside of your race that you may have some self hate issues going on?
A couple years ago I was watching Oprah and she had Dr. Alvin Poussaint on and he stated the above opinion.
The audience went wild! They spoke about how much they loved their Black husbands and how they knew that he was the one for them.
He would ask again did you ever date someone within your race? They would say, "Never!" Then he would say then you have some self esteem issues.
Do you agree?

It could lead to that depending on how far you'll let yourself go on that. Each couple is different but it is an interesting thought. I don't know if it could for sure but it can happen depending on the person.
I've never done that so I really can't say for sure.
