Would you donor your organ when you die?

There are many people who in need of organ replacement. If they don't get a replacement, they would die. There are also many people who died from accidents. These people could donor their organs to the people who still live. However not many of us are brave enough or willing to donor our organs after we die. What is your opinion on this? Should we or should we not donor our organs after our death? Is it a moral thing to do (in your religion, social acceptance, etc)?

I always have said that whatever is able to be donated, take it! I want to donate whatever I can. I am really not looking forward to the dying part all that much lol.. I have always been scared of that but I know that I will be in heaven so it wont matter.. I always tell my friends and family that I do wish to donate my organs, that way if anything happens, they already know my wishes. I think that is a great thing, you are giving life to someone else, giving them a chance to keep on living and a part of you is still out there somewhere.. I can only imagine what that does for the people on both ends of the situation.

I wish I could be strong enough to make a decision to donate. I want to do good deeds to other people, and donating an organ is a very noble act. I pray to God to give me strength. You are very brave indeed.

I guess when I die it won't matter so yes I would donate my organs for someone that needs them more than I would be.

Sacrifice is a noble thing to do. It shows us how pure our heart is.

ladysurvivor, my organs are precous to me and they cnstitite my whole. the only people I can donote my organs to are my children, wife, my siblings and my mom and pa! If you are out of this racket, dont expect any donations fro me because you are not in the inheritence circle, therefore if i die, and no one in my family circles needs organs, my wish will remain that my body parts should go six feet with me and rot along with the rest of me. It is bad manners to give your body parts to srangers, I consider tha over generosity!

Well, I've already signed my donor card, so I guess I'm going to be a donor, haha. I decided to be a donor so that I can feel good about contributing to someone's life, even after I die. I don't even mind if they just use my body for study. We have to study the human body in order to understand it and to help those with serious injuries or ailments. Besides, since I believe that our soul lives in our bodies, then once my body is no longer needed by my soul, then I think it's ok to use it to help someone else.

Nice question there. I think we all should think in deep in this question. A lot of people don't donor there organs because they are selfish or want to die in whole, but consider that if you will die and have no other option your organs can save many people lives, live that you don't even know but are worthy to live. If I die I would donate all my healthy organs to who needs it.
