I would like to know the names of some plants that smell nice. What roses are the most fragrent. Well I really want to know several plants that I could grow in or out side the house. They would need to be cat safe. I heard of something called lemon grass one time. Have you ever had that?

Hi,
Lavender grows quite well and smells nice and strong. You can cut the flowers and dry them, put them in a breathable bag or some old stocking and can be put in your clothes drawers to make clothes smell pretty. You can also put them in your pillow for a good nights sleep.I have never seen a cat try to eat the plant but i don't believe it's harmful.

Honeysuckle is very easy to grow, like almost fail proof. It smells so good in my yard, I just love it.

It would help us suggest suitable plants if you told us a littlebit about yoru location, soil type and climate as wellashow much space you have to plant up.For example, the fragrant rose'Margaret Merrill' grows really well for me, but I'm in Wales, on acid soil and with a lot of rainfall, for allI know you may be in a completely different growing climate which would make a potential difference.
As far as roses go in general, the David Austin ones are always a good bet, amny have wonderful fragrances and they are really reliable to grow.

Hi IL2Knit how are you? Lilacs are a plant that smell good. I'm guessing they are okay with cats since my neighbor has lilacs and a cat. I really don't know much about smelling plants because of my alergies towards them.
