Do you mind if someone asks your age?

Today I went to a bakery shop and a woman was standing beside me.The shop assistant was packing a nice cake for her.Then she asked the woman 'Do you need any candle?' The woman said'yes'.So the clerk asked 'How many?' I was surprised by her answer 'I dont want to tell you!'So my dear friends,do you think its that important to let a stranger konw your age?

I'm jus 18 and a guy, so I wont mind telling my age to stangers. But when I grow old I'll probably try to cut the conversation short as the woman does.

Thanks for your answer.Yes,I agree that women are more sensitive about their age especially when they are getting older.But I would never say 'NO' in this kind of situation.

I don't mind telling strangers my age, nor do I think I ever will be uncomfortable with that question. After all, it's just a number! If they wish to judge me based on how many years I have existed on this earth...well, that's their problem.

I don't that care telling my age to a stranger.I consider it not a big deal.Age doesn't mean anything important but a number increasing year by year.I think it important to keep our hearts and mind always young and innovative.

I do not mind them guessing my age. I look younger than my age, so it gives me a thrill when someone thinks I am not as old as I really am. Anyway that woman could have said that she wanted some extra ones without telling what extra candles she needed. So if she was thirty-eight, she could have asked for forty candles and told that in case some of them break, I want some more for extra. Why she could really be twenty=one.

I really dont mind if someone asks my age. I even dont mind to tell the age to the stranger also. I think women have the habbit to keep secret about their age.

Hi there. Honestly I dont think its important to tell anyone your age, but if they ask me for my age then I will tell them without a doubt. I dont think its such a letting people know your age. Its really up to you isnt it... i dont mind at all...
