I am having trouble sleeping have had this issue now for over a year. I use to lay in bed and then my mind will race a minute. I started the last several weeks to post on Mylot and do some of those click it sites in addition to cleaning. Do you lay in bed or do you get up and take care of chores?

I used to get up if I'd not gone to sleep after an hour or so and do stuff like you. But I was just so weary the next day. And it just got worse and worse. Finally I told my doctor and she prescribed Ambien. It helps a lot and doesn't leave me fuzzy-headed the next day. You need your sleep. Talk to your doctor.

My doctor did prescribe Ambien, but I was concerned it might become addictive so I did not fill the prescription. My sleep pattern is so bad, that I might go ahead and start the Ambien. I am always tired due to lack of sleep, and I really can't go on like this anymore. Thank you.

I expressed the same concern to a sleep specialist. She said that if I took it nightly for three or four weeks and then took a three-day break from it that it would prevent any addiction. My general doctor said it isn't addictive. So I'm going with the specialist's recommendation just in case.
