Awww poor little soul. Sounds like he may have worms - most kittens have them at some stage or another, or some other kind of parasite. Pleae take him to the Vet to be checked out to be sure. Washing him might not be a good idea either. I know you're only trying to help, but their skin is very snnesitive, and you may be hurting him more:-(( Please let us know what happens.

hey thanks for the concern. My cat has been in the vet for a few days got him home yesturday :) he is a lot better but on medicine and special food for a little while. the vet doesnt know what caused him to be ill but he did have a temperature and had to have antibiotics. Also got some cream for his little bottom. his stools are getting firmer and he can control his motions now!! thanx again xx

First of all how old is the kitten? The mother should be cleaning its bum, cats have a healing agent in their saliva, and it should clear up. Other wise rub it with a warm wet cloth, I do not want to alarm you but I have seven cats and have had hundreds of kittens in my house I have lost kittens to this if it is an intestinal problem. I hope you are not bottle feeding them because you have to be very careful or you can cause this to happen. I learned the hard way. Good luck and let me know how your baby is. Did you call a vet?

Sounds like the water parasite that my friends cat had. Sounds like a trip to the vet is in order.

Maybe you should ask a vet or something.I know that he will shure tell you what is wrong. And will give you the cure or will tell you what to do.
