Anyway, my point to this discussion is that i've been away from mylot in general for a good while now. I'd pop in temporarily to see if anything interesting happened but my eyes would start watering and my head would throb. Not from mylot but from the computer use in general.
I got a cold or something a while back and recent events have forced me to maintain a headache ever since. poor me right?
At any rate, has anyone ever had one of those weeks and a half were their eyes want to explode and their head hurts so much they want to evacuate their stomaches in a profoundly 'exorcists pea-soup' kind of way?

Hi silvernutbat. I have experienced it before when I put all my time surfing the internet or doing mylot. My eyes was red and watery. I have constant headache that wont go away. My remedy was that I stayed away from my computer and take a good rest for a few days. It worked.

That's pretty much what i've been doing ellie. :) I'll get on for a short time, and if my head starts to pound i'll get off. Maybe i'll eventually splurge and get one of those glare free monitors or whatever they are that supposedly reduce eye strain.

Yes, except it lasted about 3 years and turned into daily migraines. But it wasn't from computer use. Brain tumors do that to you too! Those tumors were a killer trying to concentrate in high school, haha! But at least I had an excuse as for why I couldn't pay attention. I don't get headaches for that long anymore. I'm not saying you have a tumor, just don't let your headaches go for too long without getting checked out okay? That was about 9 years ago and I still get freaked out when I have headaches last for a long time!

I know well what you mean about not letting your headaches go too long. I'm not too worried though because I generally know where mine are coming from. Stress, not eating right, little exercise (was too sick to even care about exercise) and lack of caffeine. You'll find if you are a major soda drinker and then go cold turkey for about twenty four hours that you'll have the worst headache imaginable.
It's like withdrawals or something. only the lite version I'd surmise.
But if they persist it might very well be something else, and i'll get it checked.

I completely understand, you must only be as far as the letter c in your pre-school class, which would explain your lack of an intelligent response to this discussion. The cause of my man's headaches are stupid people like you who actually think they are so extremely intelligent that they can actually outsmart the experts that run mylot. dude, you will not get paid for this, if you continue they will just kick you off mylot. so either learn a vocabulary quickly or leave and stop wasting everybody's time. have a great day^.^

I would say, silver, that you are experiencing either cluster headaches or migranes. I have been bothered by both in the past, and they're no day at the beach. I found it useful to go and get a shot of Benadryl and return to my bedroom with the blinds closed, no noise or light.

You might be right in the regards to the type of headache. I'll consider taking something for them if they don't abate. They aren't too terrible today, but I won't be online too much longer just in case.

My hubby gets cluster headaches. They come on all of a sudden and are like migraines and they wipe him out for the whole day. He will spend weeks in agony and then poof he can go years without one. I feel for you I know what you are going through and hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the concern. :) Your hubby sounds a lot like me actually. I can go a long time, pretty much all year last year, and nothing. This year though. eesh.

Hey baby. I'm so sorry your sick , wish i could take your place:( anyway, I agree abt the not eating right, lack of caffiene, stress and ultimately just not taking care of yourself but as you said this all developed after your cold right? well, possibly you may have a sinus infection which would cause constant headaches or at the least if not an infection just a sinus headache, and that heat doesn't help matters. try some sinus pills pls. baby. I hope you start to feel better so i can see you in abt 10 days. I want my lord sugar cookie to be at his best since he will have alot of work to do. (you will definately need some stamina, my love) As for the stress sweetie, you know I'm always here to listen to you and will help you in anyway that I can. I love you scottie, you are one of the most important things in my life so take care of yourself please. Get well, love ya lots...kisses. ^.^
