I want to publish a screenplay, is it safe to put it on www.lulu.com ? Is it easy to sell here? do people get their requests correctly? Can someone buy my book and steal the idea? Do you sell your writings there? Are you happy with the results?

A plus (+) for your question (I've forgotten to be doing that lately), and I am really glad that you have gotten what appear to be some good answers here. Good luck with your writing ~Donna

There are ways for anyone to steal anything they want online, so I do not think that anything is ever safe up there. But, good luck and I hope it works out for you somehow.

I'm screaming at my computer "GET IT COPYRIGHTED" nothing can prevent your work from being stolen but if you get it copyrighted then whatever happens you have something "legal" to fall back on. It's a very strange area, this cyber world. You could be fine and you could be seriously unlucky. I know people in both sides of the pound and I would suggest go a head if you "legally" safe. otherwise I would strongly suggest getting it protected. There's always someone who'll steal something. I've started three sites and each one has been ripped and copied to some form, I've also had written things stolen and used. I won't go into my art. Play safe my friend. ~Joey

I have a friend whose son has published his book through lulu.com and I am registered there too and at cafepress.com for the same thing I am currently trying to see who has better benefits and lower start up cost. Just read all the fine prints and their faqs. You can always copyright before you submit it online for insurance.
