I wanted to start this discussion while it's fresh in my head. I tend to forget things. Anyhow, other countries have made fun of our nation as having the largest number of over weight people compared to other countries.Surely,we've all seen various quick fix on infomercial as far as losing weight. The truth is there really is no quick fix if one is trying to lose weight the healthy way which is by not starving yourself. So,my question is with the the ONLY FDA approved weight loss product Alli that just came out last month,do you think we're going to see a change in the number of overweight Americans?

Probably be due to the food that you eat...they could have more calories, and less of the veggies and fish...I guess you don't eat fish much, so that could be a possible reason for the problem on being overweight. You should start to do serious dieting...I agree with you...you don't have to starve yourself in order to be healthy...balanced diet, exercise, a happy disposition, all these constitute a healthy lifestyle...avoid fatty foods and foods high in cholesterol; also, start to exercise everyday...avoid sweets, soda or cola drinks, and the like...of course, I guess less Americans will succeed to reduce if only they are serious at what they hope to achieve...

Thanks...you're definitely right. Anything is possible if one is truly committed to achieving that goal. However, most of us loose our motivation or don't see any result and give up all together.thanks for commenting :)
