Can Kelly Roland Make it without Destiny's Child

She's soo Cute but without Destiny's child I think her solo music career isn't going to go far... For some reason I just can't get into her songs, nor do I beleive she has a unique style of her own... maybe its because Beyounce over shines her talents... and every time I see her I compare her to Beyounce
what do you think
will she survive...

you're not the only person who compares her to beyonce...her songs aren't something I find myself interested in...its like her music sounds like stuff that didn't make it to the destiny's child cd...I like her look, but as long as beyonce is around singing "jay-z anthems" poor kelly doesn't stand a chance...

I've been thinking a lot about what she could do instead of being a solo artist..she is wild bony so she would make a real good model..she could model those biazarre clothes beyonce's mama is making for the clothing line..this way, she would still be in on the cash that comes from the people who would possibly buy that junk...or maybe she could host some sort of show..she is likeable and cute in her own way..that might work...

YES THAT IS TH3 TRUTH LOL you put it in the right words... its like the group should have never broke up, or maybe she shouldn't have went solo... oh I can't even begain to talk about Michelle... But I love Kelly's humbleness she's cute but not an Entertainer

This new album by Kelly Rowland has been received very well by critics. Her first solo try wasn't that much of a succees. Kelly doesn't have the "out there" kind of pizzazz that Beyonce has. And that is OK. I really think she can find a loyal audience that wants more than a sexy picture, but a deep soul. I think her songs have to be heard more than say Beyonce's. They have less of a 'hook', but still a lot of flavor.

I agree her new album is ok... but for some reason her talents dont shine out like others... I hate to use beyounce as an example because to tell you the truth there is no one like her she is a true entertainer... she has the look style vocals and dance moves... acting well thats another story... but Kelly is cute she's humble and her music is in between I can't figure out if she is POP or R'n'B I just don't think she has what it takes to be a ledgen

NAW, that's gone be ah hard one!kelly would need to step up her game just a little more. She needs to work harder and sweat harder in order to come up on top. It's like she is taking a back seat ride on her music. Come on kelly, bust a flip or something. People like to be entertained..... and she hasn't done that yet.

In my opinion, Kelly Roland without Destiny's Child is just another r'n'b singer in the row...She has to develop her personal identity like Beyonce did ( oh, another Beyonce comparison :P )

she just don't have a style of her own... its really hard to feel her music... Beyounce gives me a story line and drama... she inacts her songs and I feel them... Kelly confuses me I don't know if she is pop or R'n'B...

I agree with you. In Destiny's Child Beyonce overshadowed the other two girls and right now I don't think Kelly will be as big as Beyonce but she just might find that special loyal audience to follow her and listen to her songs.

Yes I agree she will never be as big as beyounce... then again I think she needs to find herself and maybe her music career can claim an identity... I like her alot, but even if she wasn't put up against beyounce I still wouldn't put her up against anyone else
