You Know You're Old When...

You know you're old when the TV seems too loud, you're afraid of teenagers walking down the street, your pants don't fit so well, and there are aches and pains in your back. Whew! Good thing I'm not old yet!

Are you showing me the mirror - I seem to have all that except the fear of teenagers. But I don't think I am that old because I still enjoy soft music, a hike on the mountains, a good laugh with children, deep discussions with teenagers.

The only one of those that, on rare occasions, applies to me is the back and that is because I injured it when I was slightly older than you. Usually it bothers me a little if I have been lax about doing my weight training and running. If I'm doing those I'm fitter than I was at your age.

I have a magnet (I have had two back surgeries) that reads. You know your old when your back goes out more than you do. LOL I am old and I am only 35 :(
