Mac Powell and his band "Third Day" are coming to Magic Springs Amusement Park on August 4th.
It is for Christian Youth Day. We're getting a big group together from our church and all going together to see them.
For those who like Christian music, has anyone seen them in concert? Just wondering if they do a good job. Sometimes the groups that you love on the radio, just don't sound the same when you see them in person.

That is neat. I wish that we had the extra money to go but had to spend out over $100 for my little pup. She is apparently very allergic to fleas and has lost almost all of her fur and had scratched some places nearly raw so she has a mild infection and has to be on antibiotics for 2 weeks. Have a great time and enjoy.

I'm sorry the puppy is ill. We had to help Kristen get in and get all of her clothes off and into the washing machine and her into the shower without touching anything in the house, or letting the dogs anywhere near her, because she had been holding a dog that had been diagnosed with Parvo yesterday. They had to put him down.

I understand from some at my mom's church who have farm animals that the fleas are really bad right now.
One of the ladies has goats, and she said the fleas are just covering them now.
Gold City Quartet is going to be in Hot Springs at Crossgate Church next Thursday. The concert is free but they will take up a love offering.

I can't wait. I love their music, and so do my children. Of course, having a husband who's a pastor, a son who is in youth ministry and a daughter who wants to be a missionary, we listen to alot of christian music at our house. I love Mercy Me and Casting Crowns as well.

They are a farily popular group with the crowd that enjoys Christian Pop Music. I have three teens in my house, so I'm very familiar with them! Of course, it helps to have a husband who is a former music minister, because he still keeps up with the latest groups.

Third Day is great. I got to see them at our local yearly event called "Freedom Live" about 3 years ago. They didn't sing my favorite at the time called "Sing a Song" but it was still a wonderful concert.

I'm not familiar with that song...but I am definately going to check it out. Between the three kids, they have all of their CD's. I will just have to find out which one it is on.
Is Freedom Live kind of like Freedom Jam that they have in Dallas? I've been to that. It's 4th of July weekend on Southfork Ranch where they filmed the series Dallas.

I have seen the commercials and heard them on the radio about Freedom Jam in Dallas! I would love to go there sometime! I think they are similar. Freedom Live was a disappointment this year in that there wasn't as many artists performing as there were in the previous years.
