I'm a sci-fi/fantasy reader. I like the idea of other worlds, other viewpoints and the way they handle the problems. I do have subscriptions to reader's digest and national geographic. My favorite authors: Anne McCaffrey Mercedes Lackey Robert A. Heinlein Robert Asprin Christopher Stasheff S.M. Stirling Elizabeth Moon Spider Robinson And many more! lol I can read a 300-400 page book in one day...so I'm always looking for more to read.

Well, I just read the two books in the Eragon series. Started last night and finished both today. It does show, that, as always, the book has more than the movie. I was lucky, in that my school offered (9th grade) a speed reading class (instead of english). At that time, I went from about 400 wpm to about 650. I think now, though, I read about 500 wpm. lol Still thanks.

That's right! I think that such books are not printed matter on papers, rather these are those great personalities remaining silently with us! Thanks for your response.

I don't really like biographies, or anything that has to do with history. I like mysteries and pretty much any kind of fiction book. I prefer to read short books, too, because I have a short attention span.

I used to read a lot of sci-fi books, but in the last several years, I've been reading a lot of fantasy books, along the same lines as Lords of the Rings. Authors like George R.R. Martin and Robert Jordan. Stephen Lawhead is fantastic also. I also like to read murder mysteries. I've been reading the Inspector Lynely mysteries by Elizabeth George. I need to in order to fill the void until the next season of Mystery! Inspector Lynley Mysteries start again on PBS. Am jonsing! *grins* In addition, I like to read books by Sylvia Browne, books on herbs and gemstones/crystals. Religious histories are also a good choice.

I like to read spiritual literature, mythological books, good novels and autobiographies. Since I am a little spiritual minded person, I always keep distance from fictions and horrors, because of the negative moral impact of such books. Thank you.
