Does toothpaste really clears up pimples? Our neighbor told me that she's using toothpaste when washing her face. According to her it makes her pimples dry and disappear after a week of using it.

No, pimples dry and disappear after a week without toothpaste. I only know you can also use toothpaste to clean your nails. just like brushing your teeth. It deep cleans and shine your nail.

actually..it doesn't really make it disappear..it just takes the redness out of it..I've tried it lots of times and found out that you are better off using something with benzoyl peroxide in it...

I have never used toothpaste to deal with pimples as i have had none, neither have i ever heard something like this but i have another use to which toothpaste is put. Toothpaste proves effective if you have suffered from a burn injury and applying toothpaste would help in easing the pain.

I guess others may have tried it and it doesn't work. So I'm thinking it probably really depends on the person. Because it REALLY works for me! But I don't use it for my entire face just if I have a pimple that appears or a couple on my face or wherever, I will spot treat it. Just get a little and cover the pimple. Ill leave it on for a couple hours while just relaxing at home or leave it on their over nite, so I don't have to think about it and wash the toothpaste off and there ya go! so it may not work for others...but it sure does for me! My advice, just try it..it won't hurt!
