Is 20-20 gonna wreck Cricket for good

I was just thinking about it this evening. Will the 20-20 version of the game wreck talent and the beauty of cricket and make it a bash it all up commercialised event?

Pitstop , i think you hit the nail on the head, I think this 20/20 is nothing more than money grabbing by the individual cricket councils, to me it's nothing more than a slog fest and hurts the wonderful game

The slog fest is sometimes interesting, but overall I think its just that - a slog fest; not a meaningful game

to be honest i think it can only harm the game ... there is nothing scientific about it

In cricket, players need time to show their talent.But in 20-20 cricket they don't get more time.Also the lower order may not get chance to show their talent.So in my opinion,50 overs match is better than 20-20 cricket.
