Packing is a Pain in the Butt

Does everyone else hate packing as much as I do? We ae currently getting to move into our first house and I have the happy joy of getting to pack up our whole apartment while my husband is at work each day. I have been having some major motivational problems with getting to it lately and I really need to get my butt in gear with our taking possession of the house not even 2 weeks away now. Can anybody give me any tips to make packing less of a pain, or easier in some way? I am trying to pack all of the boxes in a way that will make it easy to unpack quickly, since our move happens during my husband's vacation and I do not want all his time off to happen in a messy house full of boxes. So far I have packed up about half of our clothes, so towels, Christmas ornaments, and a few other minor things but I still have a long way to go.
