Any Groups Forming to Help Each Other Lose Weight?

I would like to join with several other mylotters to work on a weight loss program. I don't want to go to one of the ones that cost money but maybe write in and let each other know what we are doing (or not doing) to help ourselves. I am much more apt to lose weight if I have to report in. I have quite a bit to lose but might as well get it going now. If I don't start, it will never get done. Or....if you know of a website that is free that does this type of thing, please let me know. Thanks.

I dont know of any sites but I will be more than happy to start one with you as i definetly need to lose weight. As of today my boyfriend and I started taking Green Tea diet pills. I know I know why waste my money. Well Im desperate and cant seem to lose a pound much less a 1/2 a pound lol. So we started them today. We were going to head to the pool but rain and lightning stopped that. I guess we need to turn to the exercise channel and start our exercising lol. So anyway I feel like Im rambling here. Let me know if you wanna do this. Woohooo a weight lose buddy lol.

I am afraid the only exercise I am getting this week is chasing after my 15 month old granddaughter. My daughter had her knee scoped and I am taking care of my granddaughter. She is a lovely handful.

Sounds terrific. I have heard alot about the green tree extract. Look above at the previous comment and see if that fits what you want. I am also going to look at the website in the comment below. Let's go.....

Have you tried www.sparkpeople.com? It really is a community thing, and the advice and tips they give you are really something that works. It is free and you can talk to other members of the site as well.

You're welcome. The best part for me was signing up for exercise tips. They sent me exercises I had never done, but were good for me even with my physical limitations.

I think it is a great idea. I only need to lose about 10 pounds but it seems impossible. I have tried many things. Maybe others have good ideas & the support is very helpful.

I am willing to start as soon as you are. My goal is 30 pounds but I have heard that it is best to not lose over 1 pound a week... Don't know if that is true or not. I am going to start being more active....walking at first. Have to start SLOW. I am way out of shape. For diet, I am going to introduce more fruits and veggies into my diet. I am not on any type of diet pill or help product but would be willing to try one. Shall we start posting our progress on here on Mondays? Or, if you think of, read, hear about anything that might help or inspire us, send it anytime. We can always add others if they want to join in. I am also going to try the website that is down two comments.

First day without chocolate. That won't last. I can't not eat chocolate. I gave up soda & fast food. I eat healthy except for my dose of chocolate and can't loose a pound. It's not like I eat a lot of it but a couple bites a day.

Chocolate is one of my downfalls too. Someone told me dark chocolate is better but I don't like it. I am going to start drinkink lots of ice water. Supposedly, it increases your metabolism as your body has to work harder to warm up. Plus, water is just plain good for you.

I heard that if you take 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar mixed with 1/4 tsp of baking soda it will help curb your appetite. Actually some claim it will melt off the pounds but I don't think that is true. I tried it today. So far it seems to help. I think I'll give it a try for a couple of weeks & see if that helps.

Hey try going to http://www.milliondollarbody.com/angieidaho. You can motivate yourself by playing the free game where they give away $300 or $1,000 every day just for working out. They have an online gym called WOWY (Work Out With You) that is way cool. We can all schedule workout times and meet and see each other in WOWY. Like I said it is 100% free to join and play the game and you get a free web page like I have too. Hope to see you there. Angie
